Workshops

TheTalk workshops bring the cutting edge of sexual health education right into your home or office.

Our institutional workshops are geared for universities and other professional environments. They run two hours and provide an overview of sexual health information from what safer sex is, to what consent is and how to give and get it, to the most common sexually transmitted infections, how to recognize them, how to prevent them, and how they are treated and/or managed.

Our in-home workshops are geared for families and small groups of adolescents. They run for one and a half hours a night, one night a week over five weeks. These workshops provide an in-depth exploration of sexual health starting with the social framework in which a person’s choices are made. We cover anatomy, overall sexual health, reproduction, safer sex options, sexually transmitted infections, consent, the choice to be sexually active or not, and much more. While we have a certain framework from which the workshops are presented, we can tailor the in-home workshops to reflect the families’ religious and social views insofar as they are compatible with the delivery of factual information.

We can also facilitate peer to peer support groups through your office or institution.
